The global fleet of around 90,000 ships is powered by oil. Burning oil, what ever the grade, creates CO2. It’s unavoidable.
Reducing oil consumption reduces emissions automatically and helps conserve this diminishing resource.
That’s why Greenwave’s programmes are focused on reducing shipping’s consumption of fossil fuels.

Greenwave’s programmes:

DRACS
–  Improve the ship’s aerodynamics
WASP – Use the wind to power the ship
HYDRIS – Improve the ship’s hydrodynamics
PASS – Demonstrate and monitor the benefits

Our first solutions will be available before the end of 2008.
Further solutions will be available before the end of 2009.
