Greenwave Technologies

Greenwave has three products in development:

Wind engine
Turbo Foil
E-mission

Wind engines save fuel and emissions by harnessing the power of the wind enabling the ship’s main engine to be throttled back while still maintaining voyage speed.

Turbo-Foil is an aero dynamic drag kit that reduces above-deck drag by smoothing out wind flows and reducing the turbulence that creates drag.

E-mission is currently a software programme that predicts performance of the other two technologies. It does this by using the algorithms developed from tests and combines them with four years actual ships’ log data. This programme will ultimately become an interface between the emission saving technologies and the main engine to ensure optimum performance throughout the voyage.
